Research assistant, short-term employment for 7 month

Job assignement
Within CeMEB we seek a research assistant to join an international team working on the process of speciation in the marine snail, Littorina saxatilis. The assistant will help with sampling in the UK, France and Spain and the processing of samples after collection. Processing involves behavioural observation, morphological measurements and dissection, followed by DNA extraction.

The post requires a biology graduate with an interest in evolution, ideally with fieldwork and laboratory experience, who is prepared to work hard and flexibly, as part of a team.

The post is available from 1 June 2017 to 31 December 2017, 100% duty and you will be placed at our research laboratories at Tjärnö.
