PhD position open in Population Genomics in Marine Fish at the Department of Marine Sciences, University of Gothenburg

You will be part of an active research group that study evolution and conservation biology in marine organisms. We are specifically interested in how ecological and genomic processes affects species ability to adapt to a changing environment.

You will primarily work within a FORMAS funded project that aims to develop biology-informed management strategies for the growing fishery of wrasse fishes, which are used as cleanerfish in salmon aquaculture. In addition you will participate in other collaborative projects on population genomics and conservation in marine organisms.

The position is placed at the Department of Marine Sciences, Tjärnö
