Practical information
Background of the meeting: research on marine connectivity, the potential and realized movement of organisms between sites, has benefited from progress in modeling, ecophysiology, ecology and genetics. The partners of the Belgian project B-FishConnect and University of Gothenburg researchers will meet to present progress and discuss collaborations through international projects (EU-Horizon 2020, Biodiversa, and so on). The meeting is open to all interested.

Site: Sven Lovén Center for Marine Science at Tjärnö, Strömstad, Sweden

Program of the Belgians: Tuesday 26th May (arrival); Wednesday 27th May (internal progress meeting); Thursday 28th May (open workshop); Friday 29th May (field excursion to Kosterhavet Marine Park); Saturday 20th May (return).

Costs (Belgian team): flight Brussels-Gothenburg (ca 200 €), full board & room (250 €), excursion (40 €) [other costs related to transport and meeting are paid by projects of Filip]
